NY LGBT Health Month
Beginning in 2010, in partnership with several other LGBT organizations in Rochester and around New York State, AIDS Care & everybodysgood were proud to join the effort to claim the month of March annually as "NY LGBT Health Month." This effort was met with great success including the involvement of a number of different partnering organizations and a resolution introduced in the NY State Senate by Senator Tom Duane to officially recognize NY LGBT Health Month.
Additionally, beginning in that first year and every year since, under the leadership of the team here at everybodysgood, the Rochester area has been proud to offer an extensive calendar of health and wellness themed events throughout the month of March. Our aim is to bring members of our community and our allies together to reflect on the unique needs and issues of our community in way that educates, empowers, entertains & builds community.
