Each June National HIV Testing Day takes place across the country. During the month of June many organizations take part either on June 27th or a day close to the actual testing day.
AIDS CARE will be holding their annual event on Friday June 22, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the AC offices at 259 Monroe Avenue in Rochester. Last year approximately 100 people were tested and given information on risk reduction and safer sex practices.
Come out and take part this year. A rapid HIV test only takes about 20 minutes giving you knowledge of your status and a link to care if you do test HIV+.
