A 24 year old friend of mine had a stroke a couple of weeks ago. He was shocked when he found out that he had suffered a stroke as it is thought of as something that only happens in old age. Strokes are less common and often go unnoticed in young adults and lead to serious complications later on because warning signs are ignored. The American Stroke Association has a great website full of information on symptoms, causes, prevention, as well as what to do if you think you may be suffering from a stroke. The best advice is to take warning signs seriously at any age and seek medical attention quickly. Preventative care such as knowing your blood pressure and prompt treatment if you do have symptoms may limit the damage that a stroke does.

i think if u have high blood pressure u should always make sure u have a source of knowing and keeping up with your pressure just because i have members in my family that has the same problem so make sure u keep up with your health.
