Every morning I scour news sites and blogs looking for new and interesting stories. A recent one posted on Huffington Post on Monday caught my eye. Queer Kids a Photo Essay Project started back in 2006 by photographer M. Sharkey chronicles stories and photos of LGBT teens. The concept is brilliant and the photos elegant and reflect the story of the individual that was interviewed. These teens come from all backgrounds and give a picture of the diversity within the LGBT community. I encourage you to check it out. It is great to see such seemingly well adjusted young people being able to share their stories and give hope to younger kids that it indeed is likely that you will lead a happy well adjusted life as an lgbt adult. We are not one voice but a collection of many. Here is a quick link to the video montage.
