A 15 year old Ohio boy was attacked and beaten this week because of his sexual orientation. In the video you can see that the attacker waited and then brutalized him at school. Although having video evidence is great I am stunned by the lack of attention to the boy by his peers and others surrounding him. It feels as if no once cared enough to intervene for this boy who doesn't appear to be provoking anyone.Even the person taking a video of this event seems like he does not care enough to get involved. I just wonder when this sort of nonsense will end and when schools and parents will start taking this issue more seriously. Administrators in this district evidentially have not done so and the attacker recieved only a 3 day suspension from school. The boy that was attacked had been previously bullied and remarks about his sexual orientation were left on his Facebook page two days prior to the attack.
