CNN has a great article on the recent Supreme Court Decision regarding Don't Ask Don't Tell.
Again government is dragging its feet.
There certainly needs to be some training as well as updating of policies, procedures, and penalties for violating another soldiers right to be open about his or her sexuality.
But how long does this training have to take to finish and how many more servicemen and women will be brought up on charges while the bickering and lawsuits between branches of government continue?
My hope is that all of those individuals who have been discharged within the last 6 months can be reinstated and have their record of a dishonarable discharge cleared and that we can move forward and allow everyone to serve proudly and openly.
Whatever the course the fact the court has argued that enforcement needs to end is a great thing.
