Looking to get your queer blog fix over the weekend? If you haven't noticed we tend to be big bloggers M-F and then once the weekend hits things quiet down. So...to help you get through the weekend we're going to start recommending sites to check out while we're away.
One of my personal favorites for queer women is www.autostraddle.com, specifically they're NSFW Sundays and Sunday Fundays which include all kinds of tumblrs and information on sexier, safer sex as well as funny memes and pictures of adorable animals to brighten your weekend.
Here are some of my favorites:
"The Ethics of Lust" - This post discusses censorship around fisting and its importance to the queer community. There's lots of thought provoking discussion and a link to tips about safer fisting practices (we have information on it too).
"Sunday Wants Your Sex" - Which is all about sex positivity in queer female culture.
"How to Have Lesbian Sex for the First Time" - Yep, it's about what you think it's about...first time lady on lady sex.
Some other awesome things to check out on the website is the Get Baked section which includes super (most of the time) recipes that are delcious. If like yours truly you're a vegetarian, the majority are vegetarian and a bunch are even vegan.
I also recommend the College section to folks currently enjoying or hoping to one day make it to college. It includes both political college issues (i.e. sexual assault reporting, affirmative action stuff, etc.) and information and dealing with college created situations (i.e. what to do with your homophobic roomate).
Which ones do you like? What blogs keep you happy while the www.everybodysgood.com team is away?
