LGBT people come in all ages…and our community’s seniors are an important part of who we are, but services for them are often lacking. Find a group for LGBT seniors in your area or a program that serves them and donate your time, money and/or support.
Rainbow SAGE of Western New York is a good place to start.
It’s a local organization whose members gather from Rochester, the Finger Lakes Region, the Southern Tier & Buffalo for social events, programs and networking. They strive to promote positive images of growing older and advocate for the rights of older LGBTIQ individuals in both the gay and non-gay communities.
