GLSEN (the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) has an opportunity to win $250,000 from the Pepsi Refresh Everything contest to support their Safe Space Campaign! The goal of the campaign is to place a GLSEN Safe Space Kit in every single middle and high school in the country... in hopes of creating visible support and safe learning environments for LGBT students in schools across the country.
What's more... our very own Jess Cohen, Director of Youth Services at the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley, and two of our fabulous youth, are the face(s) of the National GLSEN Safe Space Campaign on the GLSEN website!

Pretty exciting...
And helping GLSEN to win is easy: all you have to do is vote for GLSEN via the Pepsi Refresh contest website, text message or facebook. And you can actually vote everyday in January from all three platforms.
Voting started yesterday... so hurry and get your votes in!
Visit http://bit.ly/voteglsen or click here to learn how to vote... you can even sign up for daily reminders if you're into that sort of thing.

I signed up to vote and have been voting daily since yesterday. As of this morning, GLSEN was listed as one of the "current leaders"....excellent news!!
