Rochesterians!: Join other marriage equality supporters in Rochester this Sunday afternoon, September 26th, for our city's first ever Annual Wedding March!
Supporters all across the state will be marching for the freedom for all to marry, as other events have been organized in Buffalo, Albany and NYC.
The following includes important information about the Wedding March in Rochester:
It will begin promptly at 2PM... but individuals, couples and families should plan to arrive at the Monroe County Office Building (39 W. Main Street) at 1:30 to check in, and if so desired to pick up an umbrella &/or t-shirt! (Visit the Marriage Equality New York website for details about fundraising opportunities.)
There is absolutely no charge to participate, but it is strongly encouraged to register online at www.meny.us/march or by calling the local volunteer organizer Todd Plank at 585.278.4190.
The march is about 1.5 miles and will end at Cross Roads Park.
