The Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University is conducting a survey to collect what they hope will be "the largest, most diverse data on the sexual lives between women in contemporary history."
Their goal is to provide better and more adequate safer sex information to queer women (if you have ever searched for information of this nature, you will know we are in dire need). Most models of safer sex, pleasure and sexual risk information for queer women are based on heterosexist and normative models & definitions of sex, women, our sexual pleasure, our bodies... etc.
This study hopes to expand on that, providing information that will actually be relevant and accurate for us and for our communities.
